Undergraduate Research
In the Department of Sociology at 911±¬ÁÏÍø, students have the opportunity to get involved in creating and supporting basic research by joining an established faculty lead research team/project or exploring your own topic while working with a faculty research mentor.
What are the benefits of getting involved in research outside the classroom? Engaging in research, students advance their knowledge and skills on 911±¬ÁÏÍøing sociological perspectives and empirical methods to an assigned or selected research topic.
Student Research Examples. 911±¬ÁÏÍø Sociology/Criminology Students who worked in research teams or conducted their own research projects have showcased their work at Academic Conferences, the Lowell Overton Undergraduate Research Symposium, in 911±¬ÁÏÍø Bronco Scholar, or at other 911±¬ÁÏÍø-CSU research events.
