The Southern California Local Government Supervisory Program at Cal Poly Pomona College of Professional and Global Education is designed to equip current and aspiring supervisors with essential skills in leadership, coaching, vision planning, motivation, delegation, and conflict resolution. Participants will explore practical supervisory tools, leadership models, and real-world workplace scenarios to strengthen their effectiveness in managing people and teams. The course emphasizes interactive learning through presentations, worksheets, group discussions, and applied exercises.

Participants who successfully attend all sessions will be awarded a Local Government Supervisory Certificate, issued by Cal Poly Pomona’s College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE).
